About Progressive Democrats of Montana

The Progressive Democrats of Montana is organized to work for social, economic, political and environmental justice and to advance the effort to secure the human rights articulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our members will:

• Promote policies to improve health care, support and advance education, and secure and defend the environmental and economic well-being of Montanans, and to support human rights in Montana, the nation, and around the world;
  
• Recruit, endorse, and elect candidates for office at all levels committed to social, economic, and environmental justice, world peace, and human and workers’ rights;
  
• Work to effect local, state and national legislation that will advance these efforts; and
  
• Work in concert with other national, state, and local progressive action groups for a more democratic, transparent, fair, and open political process.
